Our Mission
This goal is approached through two main avenues:
  • Active protection on the nation’s beaches
  • The Lifeguard Service Division has the primary goal of ensuring the safety of individuals in aquatic environments. The personnel of this unit are highly skilled and professionally trained swimmers.
  • Water safety training and public education
Due to their training, ability, proximity, and equipment, members of this unit often act as first responders in emergencies such as: road accidents, medical emergencies, search and rescue operations, and cliff rescues.

    Hours of Operation
    All the above beaches are manned daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including weekends and public holidays.
