Trinidad and Tobago Lifeguard Services

The Lifeguard Service Division has the primary goal of ensuring the safety of individuals in aquatic environments. The personnel of this unit are highly skilled and professionally trained swimmers.
Our Mission
This goal is approached through two main avenues:
  • Active protection on the nation’s beaches
  • Water safety training and public education
Due to their training, ability, proximity, and equipment, members of this unit often act as first responders in emergencies such as: road accidents, medical emergencies, search and rescue operations, and cliff rescues.

Hours of Operation
All the above beaches are manned daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including weekends and public holidays.
